Unser Vorhaben, anlässlich des 69. Jahrestags der Liquidierung des Ghettos am 23. September 1943 nach Vilnius zu fahren, nimmt Gestalt an.
Wir haben gerade mit Fania telefoniert, und sie sich einverstanden erklärt. Übrigens wird Martin, der uns schon im April nach Vilnius und im Juli nach Israel begleitet hat, wieder mit dabei sein und sich um den Ton kümmern. Leider hatte Fania auch eine traurige Nachricht für uns: Doba Develtov, die Partisanin, die mit Fania in letzter Minute aus dem Ghetto entkam, ist vor einigen Wochen in Los Angeles verstorben.
We are happy to announce that our plan to visit to Vilnius on occasion of the 69th Anniversary of the liquidation of the ghetto on 23 September 1943 is slowly taking shape!
